   NEWS from the Homestead
December 17, 2007
Well, Christmas is almost here. We have enjoyed watching the boys grow over the past month. Nick is coming into his own and showing some real personality. Ben is learning so much each day, and really keeps Mommy and Daddy on their toes. We have two new sets of photos of the boys. One is mostly of Nick and the other has some of Ben's first experience with snow.

We do want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and thank you to all that have shared warm greetings with us. We are blessed by all of you.

On this Thanksgiving, we are thankful to God for all his many, undeserved gifts to us this past year. Nick was baptized into Christ on Ben's birthday. We also are thankful to have spent some time with family this last month in Dayton, at home, and at Halloween. We hope your Thanksgiving is restful and reflective.

We are slowly getting the backlog of pictures and videos processed from the past couple of months. So far we have posted our trip to the Wyandot county fair and some shots and a movie from the recent Gathering of Mustangs and Legends Air show held at Rickenbacker airport. Nick is really starting to grow now and is interacting with his world more every day. Ben is speaking two or three word sentences. Both boys are a real joy to us.

The summer is coming to an end, but August was full of fun times. Luke attended his class reunion and put a video together to recount the day. It was a lot of fun to see faces from the past again. We also have new photos of Nick and Ben around the house. Labor Day weekend was spent between Indiana and Ohio. Shelley bought the best tasting watermelon at Bush's market.
